-4 thick cut lamb chops
-2 tablespoons of butter
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-1 teaspoon onion powder
-1 teaspoon paprika
-1 teaspoon cumin
-Salt and pepper to taste


1. Preheat a large skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
2. Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper over both sides of the lamb chops.
3. Place the lamb chops into the hot skillet and sear each side for 3-4 minutes.
4. Reduce heat to low-medium heat and cover the skillet with a lid.
5. Allow the lamb chops to cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
6. Remove the lid and cook for another 2-3 minutes, flipping occasionally.
7. Remove the lamb chops from the skillet and allow to rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.


– If you’re using thinner cut lamb chops, reduce the cooking time by a few minutes.
– Feel free to season the lamb chops with your favorite herbs and spices.
– For best results, an instant read thermometer should read 145°F.
