How To Cook Swordfish Oven

All you need to know about: How To Cook Swordfish Oven.

Preparing The Swordfish

Before you start cooking the swordfish, it is important to prepare the fish properly. Use a sharp knife to cut off the skin of the swordfish. Make sure to remove the dark skin and any dark flesh beneath it. Rinse the fish with cold water and pat it dry with a paper towel.

Marinating The Swordfish

Once the fish is prepared, it is time to marinate it. In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of dried basil, and ½ teaspoon of sea salt.

Using a brush, spread the marinade evenly over the swordfish. Place the fish in a shallow dish, cover it, and place it in the refrigerator for at least one hour. This will give the fish time to absorb all of the flavors in the marinade.

Cooking The Swordfish

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the swordfish on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the fish for 20-25 minutes, or until it is cooked through.

Once the swordfish is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Serve the swordfish with your favorite sides and enjoy!
