– 1 beef tenderloin, 2-3 pounds
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper


1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
2. Rinse the beef tenderloin, pat dry with paper towels, and place on a large platter or baking sheet.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Rub the oil mixture all over the beef tenderloin and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
5. Place the tenderloin on the preheated grill and cook for about 10 minutes, flipping every 3-4 minutes.
6. Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue to cook, flipping every 3-4 minutes, until the internal temperature of the beef reaches 135°F.
7. Remove the beef from the grill and place it on a cutting board.
8. Cover with foil and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
9. Slice the tenderloin into 1/2-inch thick slices and serve.
