• 1 (2 to 3 pound) beef bottom round roast
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 cups beef broth
• 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 2 tablespoons butter


1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Heat the oil in a roasting pan over medium-high heat.
3. Season the roast with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
4. Place the roast into the preheated roasting pan and brown on all sides.
5. Pour the beef broth into the roasting pan.
6. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.
7. Roast in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until the roast is fork tender.
8. Remove the roast from the roasting pan and place onto a cutting board.
9. Remove the aluminum foil and set the roasting pan over medium heat.
10. Stir in the flour and butter until combined.
11. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and begins to bubble.
12. Slice the roast and serve with the gravy. Enjoy!
