Ingredients

1 turkey (4-5 pounds)
1/4 cup butter
Herbs of your choice (fresh or dried)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 onions
2 celery stalks
2 carrots
4 cloves garlic
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

1. Place the turkey in the crock pot and season it with butter, herbs, salt, and pepper.

2. Add in the onions, celery, carrots, and garlic.

3. Sprinkle the flour over the turkey and vegetables and mix it in.

4. Pour in the chicken broth and stir everything together.

5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours (or until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 165 degrees F).

6. Uncover the crock pot and remove the turkey to a serving platter.
