– 2 tablespoons of oil, such as vegetable, olive, or canola oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Heat a cast iron skillet on the stove over medium-high heat until it is hot.
3. Pat your steak dry with a paper towel, then season with salt and pepper.
4. Add the oil to the skillet and swirl it around to coat the bottom.
5. Place the steak in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until it develops a nice char.
