• 2 Hangar steaks
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons butter


1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Place the steaks on a baking sheet and rub with olive oil.
3. Season the steaks with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Roast in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
5. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
6. Add the butter and garlic to the skillet and sauté until the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.
7. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the desired doneness is achieved.
8. Remove the steak from the skillet and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
9. Slice the steaks against the grain and serve.
