Ingredients

Cube steak
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons freshly minced garlic
1/4 cup chopped sweet onion

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Season the cube steak on both sides with salt and pepper.

3. Place the flour onto a plate or shallow dish.

4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and olive oil and heat until the butter is melted.

5. Dip the cube steak into the flour and coat both sides. Place the steak into the skillet and brown on both sides for about 2 minutes per side.

6. Add the beef broth, white wine, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and onion to the skillet.

7. Cover the skillet and transfer to the oven. Bake for 30 minutes.

8. Remove the skillet from the oven and check for doneness. If not done, cover and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.

9. Serve the cube steak with the pan juices. Enjoy!
