How To Cook A Sirloin Tip Steak

Sirloin tip steak is a very popular cut of beef. It’s juicy, flavorful, and easy to prepare. Here’s how to cook a sirloin tip steak so that it’s tender and delicious.

Ingredients

– 1 sirloin tip steak, about 1-inch thick
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
– Salt, to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place the steak onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.

4. Rub the oil mixture over the steak on both sides.

5. Place the steak into the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

6. After 15 minutes, flip the steak and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the steak reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

7. Remove the steak from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Tips

– To keep the steak juicy and tender, don’t overcook it. Use an instant-read thermometer to check the internal temperature of the steak.

– To add extra flavor to the steak, try adding some fresh herbs to the oil mixture before rubbing it onto the steak.

– If you don’t have an oven, you can also cook the steak on the stovetop. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steak for 4 minutes on each side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
