How To Cook Standing Rib Roast

– 4-7 bone standing rib roast
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 carrots, chopped
– 2 celery stalks, chopped
– 2-3 cups beef broth


1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place the roast in a roasting pan and rub it with oil, salt, and pepper.

3. Place the garlic, onion, carrots, and celery in the bottom of the pan.

4. Add the beef broth and cover the pan with foil.

5. Place the roast in the oven and roast it for 2-3 hours, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

6. Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.

7. Slice the roast and serve it with the vegetables and the pan juices. Enjoy!
