Ingredients

– 2 cups of long grain white rice
– 2 ½ cups of chicken broth or water
– 2 tablespoons of butter or olive oil
– Salt, to taste

Instructions

1. Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Drain the rice in a strainer and set aside.

2. Place the rice, broth (or water), butter (or olive oil), and salt into the crock pot. Stir to combine.

3. Place the lid on the crock pot and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or until the rice is tender and all the liquid is absorbed.

4. Once the rice is cooked, remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork. Serve hot.
