– 2 cups of jasmine rice
– 2 and 1/2 cups of water

Instructions

1. Begin by washing the jasmine rice. This can be done by adding the rice to a bowl filled with cold water and gently swishing it around with your hands.

2. Strain the water and repeat the process until the water runs clear.

3. Add the washed jasmine rice to your rice cooker.

4. Add 2 and 1/2 cups of water to the cooker.

5. Close the lid and press the “cook” button.

6. Allow the rice to cook for about 20 minutes or until the cooker switches to “warm” mode.

7. When the rice is finished cooking, fluff it with a fork.

Tips

– For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of salt or a tablespoon of butter to the cooker before pressing the cook button.
– If you want to make the rice extra fluffy, add an additional 1/4 cup of water to the cooker.
– For drier rice, reduce the amount of water by 1/4 cup.
– If you’d like to add additional flavor, you can sauté garlic, ginger, and other spices in a bit of oil before adding the rice and water to the cooker.
