1 (3 to 4 pound) boneless pork butt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup chicken broth


1. Preheat oven to 300°F.

2. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper.

3. Rub the spice blend all over the pork.

4. Place the pork in a roasting pan or baking dish.

5. In a separate bowl, mix together apple cider vinegar and chicken broth.

6. Pour the mixture over the pork.

7. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 3 to 4 hours, or until the pork is fork-tender.

8. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.

9. Using two forks, pull the pork apart into shreds.
