Ingredients
• 2-3 lb. pork shoulder butt
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons garlic powder
• 1 tablespoon onion powder
• 2 teaspoons kosher salt
• 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon dried thyme
• 2 cups chicken stock
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. Dry the pork shoulder butt with a paper towel.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, oregano, and thyme.
4. Rub the mixture evenly over the pork butt.
5. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
6. Add the pork butt and brown it on all sides, about 1-2 minutes per side.
7. Remove the skillet from the heat and add the chicken stock.
8. Cover the skillet with foil and place it in the oven.
9. Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the pork butt is tender and cooked through.
10. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the pork butt rest for 10 minutes before serving.

• Use a thermometer to check the internal temperature of the pork butt. It should be 145°F.
