How To Cook Marinated Pork Tenderloin In Slow Cooker

All you need to know about: How To Cook Marinated Pork Tenderloin In Slow Cooker.

Preparing Your Pork Tenderloin

Start by selecting a good quality pork tenderloin. Look for one that is evenly-shaped and has a deep pink color. Trim off any excess fat, and then pat dry with paper towels.

Marinating the Pork

Combine the marinade ingredients in a non-reactive bowl. This could include olive oil, garlic, fresh herbs, lemon juice, and seasonings. Place the pork tenderloin in the marinade and make sure the pork is evenly coated. Place the bowl in the refrigerator and let the pork marinate for at least 2 hours, and up to 8 hours.

Cooking the Pork in the Slow Cooker

Remove the pork tenderloin from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the pork in the slow cooker and cover. Cook on low heat for 4 to 5 hours, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.

Finishing the Pork

Once the pork tenderloin has cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Slice the pork into 1/2 inch thick medallions and serve with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!
