– 4-5 lbs pork loin
– 1 large onion, chopped
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 2 tablespoons of rosemary
– 1 teaspoon of thyme
– 1 teaspoon of sage
– 2 cups of chicken broth
– Salt and pepper to taste


1. Season the pork loin on all sides generously with salt and pepper.

2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the pork loin in the skillet and brown it on all sides. This should take about 8 minutes.

3. Place the onions and garlic into the crockpot. Place the browned pork loin on top of the onions and garlic.

4. Combine the rosemary, thyme, sage, and chicken broth together in a bowl. Pour this mixture over the pork loin in the crock pot.

5. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.


Once the pork loin is cooked, remove it from the crock pot and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!
