– Bone-in pork roast (3-4 pounds)
– 2 tablespoons cooking oil
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– ½ teaspoon onion powder
– ½ teaspoon dried thyme
– ½ teaspoon dried rosemary


1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

2. Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Season the pork roast with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and rosemary.

4. Place the seasoned pork roast into the hot skillet and sear on all sides until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
