How To Cook Zucchini Noodles

Zucchini noodles, also known as “zoodles”, are a great alternative to traditional wheat-based pasta. Not only are they gluten-free, but they are also packed full of nutrients like Vitamin A, C, and potassium, as well as fiber. Here’s how to prepare zucchini noodles for a delicious, healthy meal.


– 2 zucchinis
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– Salt, to taste


1. Start by prepping your zucchini noodles. Wash the zucchinis and trim off the ends.
2. You can use either a spiralizer or a vegetable peeler to make the noodles. If using a spiralizer, carefully turn the handle and make sure the blade is securely in place. If using a vegetable peeler, run the peeler lengthwise down the zucchini to create thin ribbons.
3. Once the noodles are prepared, heat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
4. Once the oil is hot, add the zucchini noodles and cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Once the noodles are tender and have cooked through, turn off the heat and season with salt to taste.
6. Serve the zucchini noodles with your favorite sauce or topping. Enjoy!
