1 Tri-Tip Roast

2 tablespoons of olive oil

3 cloves of garlic, minced

1 teaspoon of black pepper

1 teaspoon of salt

2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon of dried oregano


1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).

2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard and oregano.

3. Place the tri-tip roast on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

4. Rub the olive oil mixture all over the roast.

5. Place the roast in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the roast reaches 135°F (57°C).

6. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

7. Slice the roast against the grain and serve.


– If you’d like a crispier crust, turn the oven onto the broil setting for the last few minutes of cooking.

– For a more flavorful roast, you can marinate the tri-tip overnight in the olive oil mixture before cooking.
