How To Cook Stuffed Peppers

Stuffed peppers are a flavorful and comforting dish that is easy to prepare. The combination of peppers, rice, and ground beef make for a hearty and satisfying meal that is sure to please the whole family. Here is how to make them:


• 4 large bell peppers, any color
• 1 pound lean ground beef
• 1 cup cooked white or brown rice
• 1/2 cup onion, diced
• 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 cup shredded cheese, any type


1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Cut the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Place the peppers in a large pot with enough water to cover the peppers. Bring the water to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Drain the peppers and set aside.

3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until it is no longer pink. Add in the onion and bell pepper and cook until the vegetables are softened.

4. Add the cooked rice, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.

5. Fill each pepper with the beef and rice mixture and place them in a baking dish. Top each pepper with the shredded cheese.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the peppers are tender.

7. Serve hot and enjoy!
