1 (12 ounce) package silken tofu


1. Drain and rinse the tofu.

2. Place the tofu in a medium-sized bowl.

3. With a fork, gently mash the tofu until it has a smooth, creamy consistency.

4. Heat a small pan over medium heat.

5. Add the tofu and cook, stirring frequently, until it is hot and beginning to brown.

6. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper to taste.

7. Serve the silken tofu warm or chilled.


• You can also add other seasonings or herbs to your silken tofu for added flavor.

• Silken tofu can also be used as a substitute for ricotta cheese in recipes like lasagna or stuffed shells.
