How To Cook Short Ribs In Oven

– 4 to 5 pounds short ribs
– 2 teaspoons garlic powder
– 2 teaspoons onion powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 2 teaspoons salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 cups beef broth


1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. Place the short ribs in a large baking dish. Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the ribs, and rub the seasonings into the meat.

3. Drizzle the olive oil over the ribs and use your hands to rub it into the meat.

4. Pour the beef broth into the bottom of the dish.

5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake the ribs for 2 to 2 ½ hours, or until the meat is tender and begins to pull away from the bone.

6. Uncover the dish, increase the oven temperature to 400°F, and cook the ribs for an additional 10 minutes to crisp up the outside.
