How To Cook Sausages
All you need to know about: How To Cook Sausages.
Step 1: Preparation
Before you begin cooking your sausages, there are a few pieces of preparation you should complete. Make sure you have all the ingredients and necessary equipment you need to make the meal. You will need sausages, a skillet or frying pan, oil or butter, and any other ingredients you desire such as onions, peppers, or garlic.
Step 2: Browning the Sausages
Once you have your ingredients and equipment ready, begin to heat the skillet or frying pan to a medium-high heat. You can test the heat of the pan by putting a drop of water on the pan. If the water sizzles and evaporates, the pan is ready.
Add a tablespoon of oil or butter to the pan, then carefully place the sausages in the pan. Allow the sausages to brown for about five minutes, turning them over to ensure both sides are browned.
Step 3: Simmering the Sausages
Once the sausages are nicely browned, reduce the heat to medium-low and add in any other desired ingredients, such as onions, peppers, or garlic. Stir the ingredients together, then add in a half cup of water. Allow the sausages to simmer in the pan, stirring occasionally. Simmer the sausages for 10-15 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
Step 4: Plate and Serve
Once the sausages are cooked through, remove the pan from the heat and transfer the sausages and ingredients to a plate. Serve the sausages with your favorite sides, such as potatoes, rice, or vegetables, and enjoy!
