1 4-ounce salmon fillet
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
2. Rub the salmon fillet with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
3. Place the salmon fillet in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
4. Once the salmon is cooked through, remove from the pan and serve.


• Use a non-stick skillet to prevent sticking.
• If desired, you can add a few tablespoons of butter to the skillet for added flavor.
• For a crispy skin, place the skin side down in the skillet first.
• To check for doneness, insert a fork into the thickest part of the fish. If the flesh flakes easily, it is done.
