Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Slice your pumpkin in half and scoop out the seeds and stringy fibers.

3. Rub the pumpkin halves with a little oil, and place them cut-side up on a baking sheet.

4. Bake for 45 minutes to an hour, or until the pumpkin is fork-tender.

5. Let the pumpkin cool, then scoop the flesh away from the skin.

Using a Pressure Cooker

1. Place the pumpkin into the pressure cooker and pour in enough water to reach the bottom of the pumpkin.

2. Lock the lid and cook for 8 to 10 minutes on high pressure.

3. When the cooking time is up, let the pressure release naturally.

4. Carefully remove the pumpkin from the pressure cooker and scoop out the flesh.

Using a Slow Cooker

1. Place the pumpkin into the slow cooker and add enough water to come up to the bottom of the pumpkin.

2. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, or until the pumpkin is fork-tender.

3. Remove the pumpkin from the slow cooker and scoop out the flesh.

Using a Microwave

1. Cut the pumpkin into smaller chunks and place them in a microwave-safe bowl.

2. Add a few tablespoons of water and cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap.

3. Cook on high for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the pumpkin is fork-tender.

4. Let the pumpkin cool before scooping out the flesh.
