4 cups water

1 cup polenta

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt, to taste


1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium pot over medium-high heat.

2. Slowly add the polenta, stirring constantly with a whisk or a wooden spoon.

3. Reduce the heat to low and continue stirring for about 15 minutes, or until the polenta has thickened.

4. Add the olive oil and salt to taste.

5. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Transfer the polenta to a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.

7. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.

8. Let the polenta cool before slicing and serving.
