How To Cook Lions Mane

All you need to know about: How To Cook Lions Mane.

Step 1: Prepare the Lion’s Mane Fungus

Start by carefully inspecting the Lion’s Mane fungus. You should discard any fungus that has begun to turn brown or have a slimy texture. Once you’ve selected a healthy specimen, rinse it off in cold water and gently pat it dry with a paper towel.

Step 2: Sauté the Lion’s Mane Fungus

Add a tablespoon of butter or olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add the Lion’s Mane and sauté it for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3: Season, Simmer and Serve

Once the Lion’s Mane has started to soften, season it with salt and pepper to taste. Add a splash of white wine, vegetable broth, or water to the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Simmer the Lion’s Mane for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid is absorbed and the Lion’s Mane is tender. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
