Step 1: Thawing the Lobster Tail
The safest way to thaw a frozen lobster tail is in the refrigerator overnight. Simply place your lobster tails in a shallow pan or bowl and leave them in the fridge for 12-24 hours.
Step 2: Prepare the Lobster Tail for Cooking
Once the lobster tails are thawed, remove them from the refrigerator and place them on a cutting board. Use a sharp pair of kitchen shears to cut the lobster tail in half, starting from the underside and cutting along the top shell.
