1 block of extra firm tofu


1. Drain the liquid from the tofu by pressing it between two plates. Place a heavy object on the top plate to press out the extra liquid. Let sit for 15 minutes.

2. Slice the tofu into cubes, strips, or other desired shapes.

3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of oil.

4. Add the tofu and season with salt and pepper.

5. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring and flipping often.

6. Reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

7. Increase the heat again to medium-high and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring and flipping often.

8. Serve the extra firm tofu warm with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!
