– 2 pounds of Brussels sprouts
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste


1. Wash and trim the Brussels sprouts, removing any discolored or wilted leaves. Cut off the stem end and cut each sprout in half.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Add the Brussels sprouts to the pan, cut-side down. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

4. Cook the Brussels sprouts for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown.

5. Reduce the heat to medium, cover the pan, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender.

6. Remove the lid, stir the Brussels sprouts and season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

7. Serve warm. Enjoy!
