– 2 dozen live blue crabs
– 1/2 cup of sea salt
– 2 quarts of water
– 1 cup of white vinegar
– 1/2 cup of Old Bay seasoning
– 2 tablespoons of melted butter
– 1 lemon, sliced


1. Fill a large pot with 2 quarts of water and 1/2 cup of sea salt.
2. Place the pot on the stove, and bring the water to a boil.
3. Once the water is boiling, add in the live blue crabs and cover the pot with a lid.
4. Boil the crabs for about 15 minutes.
5. Once the crabs are done boiling, remove them from the pot and place them on a large platter.
6. In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup of white vinegar, 1/2 cup of Old Bay seasoning, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
7. Pour the mixture over the boiled crabs and make sure they are evenly coated.
8. Arrange the lemon slices on top of the crabs.
9. Place the platter of crabs on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the crabs are golden brown.
10. Serve the grilled blue crabs with melted butter and lemon wedges. Enjoy!
