How To Cook Bass

2 (4-ounce) bass fillets
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tablespoons capers
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Place bass fillets on a cutting board and season with salt and pepper.

3. Heat oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the bass fillets to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes per side.

4. Transfer the bass fillets to a baking dish.

5. In the same skillet, add the white wine, chicken stock, lemon juice, capers, and parsley. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 2 minutes.

6. Pour the sauce over the bass fillets.

7. Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the bass is cooked through.

8. Serve with your favorite side dish and enjoy!
