Ingredients

– Fresh asparagus
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– Salt and pepper
– 2 cloves of minced garlic (optional)
– Lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.

2. Wash the asparagus and cut off the tough ends.

3. Place the asparagus on a baking sheet and drizzle with the olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

4. Roast in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and lightly browned.
