Ingredients


• 1 lb of chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 1 lb of pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 6 cloves of garlic, minced
• 1/2 cup of white vinegar
• 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions


1. Place the chicken and pork in a large pot. Add enough water to cover the meat completely.

2. Add the garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves, and black pepper to the pot. Stir everything together and bring the mixture to a boil.

3. Once the mixture is boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes.

4. After 45 minutes, remove the pot from the heat and let the adobo cool slightly.

5. Serve the adobo hot with steamed white rice. Enjoy!
