Ingredients:

1 beef brisket

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 teaspoon sea salt

2 cups beef broth

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 bay leaves

Instructions:

1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

2. Rub the brisket with the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, pepper, and salt.

3. Place the brisket in the skillet and brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.

4. Place the brisket in a slow cooker.

5. Add the beef broth, onion, garlic, and bay leaves to the slow cooker.

6. Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours, or until the brisket is tender.

7. Remove the brisket from the slow cooker and slice it against the grain.
