How To Cook a Artichoke

Ingredients

-One large artichoke
-1/4 cup Olive oil
-2 cloves garlic, minced
-1/2 teaspoon sea salt
-1/2 teaspoon black pepper
-1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Cut the stem off of the artichoke. Cut off the top 1/3 of the artichoke.
3. Using a sharp knife, cut the artichoke in half lengthwise.
4. Use a spoon to scoop out the fuzzy center of the artichoke.
5. Place artichoke halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Drizzle olive oil over the artichoke halves.
7. Sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the artichoke halves.
8. Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the artichoke halves.
9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the leaves are tender.
10. Serve with additional lemon wedges, if desired. Enjoy!
