1 fully cooked spiral-cut ham
¼ cup of whole cloves
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of pineapple juice


1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Remove any wrappings from the ham and, if necessary, trim off any excess fat.
2. Place the ham in a roasting pan, cut side down.
3. Score the top of the ham with a sharp knife, making shallow cuts in a diamond pattern.
4. Insert a whole clove into each diamond.
5. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and pineapple juice.
6. Pour the mixture over the ham and spread it evenly, using a brush.
7. Bake the ham for 1 ½ to 2 hours, or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the ham registers 140°F.
8. Baste the ham with the pan juices every 30 minutes.
9. When the ham is done, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
