1 whole chicken (4 to 5 pounds)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder


1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.

3. Place the chicken in a roasting pan or a large cast iron skillet.

4. Rub the chicken with olive oil.

5. Sprinkle the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

6. Place the chicken in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
