1 whole chicken

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons melted butter


1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Place chicken in a roasting pan.

3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, pepper, thyme, oregano, rosemary, and salt.

4. Rub the mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get into all the nooks and crannies.

5. Drizzle the melted butter over the chicken.

6. Place the chicken in the oven and roast for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

7. Remove the chicken from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving. Enjoy!
