How to Cook Bison Burgers

Bison burgers are a delicious, lean, and healthy alternative to traditional beef burgers. These burgers are high in protein and low in fat, making them a perfect meal for anyone looking to eat healthier. To make the perfect bison burger, follow these steps.

• 1 pound of ground bison
• 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
• 1 teaspoon of steak seasoning
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tablespoons of olive oil
• 4 hamburger buns
• 4 slices of cheese
• Lettuce, tomato, onion, and condiments of your choice

1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

2. In a large bowl, combine the ground bison, Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix with your hands until evenly blended.

3. Form the mixture into four patties, making sure each patty is slightly larger than the buns.

4. Brush each patty with olive oil to help prevent them from sticking to the grill.

5. Place the burgers onto the preheated grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side.

6. During the last minute of cooking time, top each burger with a slice of cheese.

7. Remove the burgers from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.

8. Toast the buns in the same pan, if desired.

9. Assemble the burgers on the buns and serve with a topping of your choice.

• You can easily substitute ground beef for the bison if desired.
• You can also make these burgers in a skillet on your stovetop.
• For a juicier burger, add a tablespoon of water to the mixture before forming the patties.
• If you like your burgers more well-done, cook them for an extra minute or two on each side.
