Ingredients

3-4 pound Corned beef

1 Onion, cut into wedges

6-8 whole cloves

2-3 bay leaves

2-3 tablespoons brown sugar

1-2 tablespoons mustard seed

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2-3 cups water

Instructions

1. Rinse the corned beef and place it in the slow cooker.

2. Add the onion wedges, cloves, bay leaves, brown sugar, mustard seed, thyme, pepper, allspice, cloves and nutmeg around the corned beef.

3. Pour the water over the top of the ingredients.

4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours, or until the corned beef is tender.

5. Carefully remove the corned beef from the slow cooker and let it rest on a cutting board for 15-20 minutes before slicing.

6. Slice the corned beef against the grain and serve with your favorite accompaniments. Enjoy!
