How To Cook Frozen Steak

Cooking frozen steak may sound intimidating, but with the right techniques, you can make a delicious dinner in no time. With a few simple steps, you can transform a frozen steak into a juicy, flavorful meal.

Ingredients

• 1 frozen steak (the thickness and size will depend on the number of people you’re cooking for)
• 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
• Salt and pepper
• Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, herbs, and spices of your choice

Instructions

1. Take the frozen steak out of the freezer and let it thaw for about 20 minutes.
2. Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish with vegetable oil.
3. Place the steak in the baking dish and season it with salt, pepper, and any additional herbs or spices you’d like to add.
4. Drizzle the steak with the remaining vegetable oil.
5. Bake the steak in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
6. After 30 minutes, turn the oven up to 400°F and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
7. Remove the steak from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Tips

• If your steak is too thick to thaw in the 20 minutes, you can put it in a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes to speed up the process.
• Always use a meat thermometer to make sure your steak is cooked to the desired temperature.
• Letting the steak rest after cooking will allow the juices to settle and give you a juicier steak.
• Serve your steak with a side of your favorite vegetables or potatoes for a complete meal.
