Cuisinart rice cookers are popular not only because of their ability to churn out delicious rice-based recipes, but also because of its famous design spin. This is an add on to their sturdy construction and efficient functioning. Cuisinart rice cookers are available in two sizes; the 4-cup and the 8-cup. While the 4-cup rice cooker is capable of cooking anywhere between 4 to 7 cups of cooked rice, the 8-cup rice cooker cooks between 8 to 15 cups.
The Cuisinart rice cookers also come with stainless steel trays to prepare chicken, vegetables, or anything other dish that can be prepared with simple steaming. The rice cookers have clear glass lids and come with measuring cups and serving spoons. Their non-stick surface coating for the inner bowl is durable and that makes cleaning the rice cooker a relatively simple task. Superior grade stainless steel is used for the steam tray, which is what I really like compared to plastic trays.
The Cuisinart CRC-400 rice cooker comes in an outrageous and rather unconventional cube shape with an aluminum finish that gives it a brushed-up modern look. Other than its design, its internal setup assures perfect results each time, and simply eliminates the guesswork involved in cooking rice as far as its consistency and texture is concerned.
Side handles are chrome plated to avoid burns while handling the rice cooker. The tip for cooking perfect rice in this rice cooker without any messy spill overs is to cook the rice every single time with the steam tray in place, even if you are not steaming anything!

Although the Cuisinart FRC-800 doesn’t come in the unique cube shaped design, this fuzzy logic rice cooker has plenty of options for cooking rice. It’s an 8-cup rice cooker that can cook up to 15 cups of cooked rice, with three options for white rice texture and more options for cooking oatmeal, risotto, brown rice and sushi rice. You can also use it for steaming food only or to slow cook.
The extra large buttons and clear display is the best point of this rice cooker, and the inner bowl is really easy to clean. I also liked the timer delay. However, the downside is you’ll have to read the manual for more information such as time for each cycle, etc, if you want to know it. The rice cooker display does not tell you that.
